My sculptures are often created using materials from found objects. The object, with its own history, context and meanng, melds with my creative input.

 

By repurposing the object (deconstructing it, and then reconstructing its elements) I imbue new meaning into it, adding a new layer of history, context, and meaning. The object has been reimagined into its new form and function, with disparate meaning to its original form.
